B1 Drops Game To Five Dock After Late Score

B1 stayed in it until the end, but Five Dock pulled away late in a 6-4 victory on Sunday

B1 opened up scoring in the first inning when Ben Matthews grounded out, scoring one run.

Ben Matthews toed the rubber for B1. They went three innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out five and walking one. Daniel Briggs threw one inning in relief.

Tom Hastings led B1 with two hits in three at bats.

Chavez Drives In Four Runs For E1, But Thornleigh Takes The Game

Greg Chavez drove in four runs, but it wasn't enough as E1 fell to Thornleigh 21-11 on Saturday. Greg Chavez drove in runs on a single in the second and a single in the third.

E1 tallied eight runs in the third inning. E1's big inning was driven by walks by Adam Goodrich and Joseph Dahdah, singles by Greg Chavez and Daniel Draper, by Stuart Moore, and by Heath Goodrich.

Joey Hoover toed the rubber for E1. They surrendered 12 runs on five hits over one inning, striking out four. Daniel Draper and Heath Goodrich entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

E1 tallied ten hits on the day. Greg Chavez and Daniel Draper all had multiple hits for E1. Greg Chavez went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead E1 in hits. Daniel Draper led E1 with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.

E2 Clinches Lead In Fourth Inning For Victory Over Thornleigh

E2 defeated Thornleigh 11-9 on Saturday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at eight with E2 batting in the bottom of the fourth when Marcus Greenwood induced Peter Bamford to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as E2 collected 13 hits.

E2 scored four runs in the second inning. The rally was led by a single by Steve Dillon and a double by Lewis Peters

Josh Sullivan got the start for E2. They surrendered eight runs on nine hits over four innings, striking out five

E2 totaled 13 hits in the game. Andrew Blunden, Lewis Peters, Nathan Self, and Steve Dillon each collected multiple hits for E2. Andrew Blunden led E2 with three hits in three at bats. E2 stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Simon Brown led the way with three.
