D1 Claims Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Tigers

D1 stole the lead late and defeated Tigers 9-7 on Saturday. The game was tied at seven with D1 batting in the bottom of the fourth when Hoover Glen singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as D1 collected nine hits and Tigers four in the high-scoring affair

Heath Goodrich was on the mound for D1. He allowed four hits and five runs over three innings, striking out three.

D1 totaled nine hits. Joe Dahdah and Adam Goodrich each racked up multiple hits for D1. Dahdah went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead D1 in hits. Stephen Frappell led D1 with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

Daniel's Walk-Off Gives D2 Victory Over Tigers

D2 took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off at the end of the game to topple Tigers. The game was tied at ten with D2 batting in the bottom of the fourth when Kym Daniel was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

D2 tallied four runs in the second inning. D2 batters contributing to the big inning included Joe Dahdah, Brad Cluff, Mat Rickard, and Joshua Smyth, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Glenn Hoover was on the mound for D2. He surrendered ten runs on seven hits over two and a third innings, striking out four.

D2 racked up 12 hits. Dave Steel, Josh Sullivan, Cluff, and Rickard all managed multiple hits for D2. Rickard, Cluff, Sullivan, and Steel all had two hits to lead D2.
