Scorekeepers were kept busy today during a high-scoring contest between D1 and Ryde Eastwood - Donny where D1 prevailed 13-6.

In the first inning, Ryde Eastwood - Donny got their offense started when Kyoung Tae Ha doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

D1 pulled away for good with six runs in the second inning. In the second Matthew Wiles doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Glenn Hoover singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Christian Caceres singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Josh Sullivan singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Scott Paulson singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, and Col O'Dea singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

D1 scored six runs in the third inning. Caceres, Sullivan, Paulson, and Greg Chavez each had RBIs in the big inning.

Sullivan was on the mound for D1. They surrendered six runs on 11 hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one.

D1 totaled 18 hits in the game. Sullivan, Caceres, Paulson, O'Dea, Hoover, Chavez, Wiles, and Stuart Moore all managed multiple hits for D1. Caceres and Sullivan each collected three hits to lead D1.

D2

A walk-off left D2 on the wrong end of a 12-11 defeat to Ryde Eastwood - IGNIS on Saturday. Ryde Eastwood - IGNIS trailed 11-10 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Jun Sik Choi doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

D2 lost despite out-hitting Ryde Eastwood - IGNIS 12 to ten

Ryde Eastwood - IGNIS opened up scoring in the first inning, when Mingun Kim doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Young Eob Son got the start for Ryde Eastwood - IGNIS. They lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and five runs while striking out one.

Nick Franke toed the rubber for D2. They went two and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on five hits. Brad Cluff threw one inning in relief.

D2 tallied 12 hits on the day. Lewis Peters, Franke, Cluff, and Andrew Blunden each collected multiple hits for D2. Peters went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead D2 in hits.
